A lithium battery factory in Hwaseong, South Korea, caught fire on June 24, resulting in 1 fatality, 6 injuries, and 19 individuals trapped inside. The incident at the ARICELL factory began at 10:31 a.m. and has posed challenges due to the vast amount of lithium batteries stored inside. Despite the efforts of 145 firefighters and over 50 rescue vehicles, the fire continues to rage as concerns mount over the well-being of the missing individuals. The rescue operation is ongoing.
