On the evening of June 24, 2024, some areas in Tainan City experienced a power outage. At 17:59, a total of 326 households in the Yujing and Nanxi districts lost power due to a line jump. Taipower immediately implemented emergency measures, initiated power redirection, and dispatched personnel for repairs. By 20:20, power had been restored to 260 households, with 66 households still actively undergoing repairs. The cause of the outage is still under investigation, with initial suspicions pointing to a line jump due to a certain factor.
