Southwest Airlines CFO Tammy Romo to Retire on April 1 After 30 Years

Southwest Airlines announced that CFO Tammy Romo will retire on April 1, 2025, after over 30 years with the airline. Joining in 1991, Romo has held various leadership positions and became CFO in 2012. The airline is now searching for her successor, as it continues to recover its profit margins following challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Chief Administration Officer Linda Rutherford will also retire on the same date.
