The Spanish National Day celebration has been moved to Kaohsiung for the first time this year. Eduardo Euba, Director of the Spanish Office of Commerce, visited Kaohsiung mayor Chen Chi-Mai to invite him to participate in the event. Chen expressed anticipation for increased substantive cooperation in culture, tourism, and economy with Spain, as well as strengthening exchanges with Spanish port cities. The event will showcase authentic Spanish music and cuisine, with a performance by the Cimbalom Band and Chorus and delicious dishes by Nido Spanish Cuisine. The event is set to take place in October at the Kaohsiung Music Center.
