Spanish Manufacturing Growth Slows Due to Floods in November

Reported 2 days ago

Spain's manufacturing sector experienced slower growth in November, primarily due to severe floods in the Valencia region, as indicated by the HCOB Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), which dipped to 53.1 from 54.5 in October. Despite the tragic floods that claimed over 200 lives, manufacturing output and new orders increased, fueled by robust export demand. Employment rose for the third month in a row, and confidence in future growth reached its highest level since May, suggesting continued economic expansion.
