Spanish police are probing a possible theft of private data of millions of drivers after detecting an attempted breach by an anonymous user selling the Directorate-General of Traffic's database, which holds detailed information on over 27 million drivers in Spain. The Guardia Civil police force is investigating the incident, while Spain's major companies have recently faced cyberattacks. Last year, over 100,000 cyberattacks occurred, with 130 classified as 'critical'.
