The 35th Golden Melody Awards held its ceremony today, presenting a Special Contribution Award to Zheng Huajuan, who passed away in Germany at the age of 60 in March of this year. To commemorate her, singer Wan Fang performed several classic songs with lyrics by Zheng Huajuan at the event. The award presenter expressed gratitude towards Zheng Huajuan for her significant contributions to music, especially in transforming Taiwanese language songs and impacting the framework of songwriting. Zheng's family members accepted the award on her behalf, expressing their appreciation for her four decades of creating numerous songs in Mandarin and Taiwanese languages.
