Recently, citizens in Chiayi City noticed several pedestrian crossings in busy areas with three additional 'floating lines,' sparking curiosity and discussion among netizens. These lines, known as 'guided pedestrian crossings' by the city's transportation department, are specifically designed to assist visually impaired individuals. The lines enhance safety with a 0.4 cm height increase and improved anti-slip properties, creating a more friendly environment for visually impaired pedestrians to navigate intersections.
