In response to North Korea's ongoing provocations, the US and South Korea conducted a joint special forces exercise. South Korea's naval special forces demonstrated their underwater striking capabilities, while the US AC-130J gunship known as the 'Ghost Rider' flew back to the Korean Peninsula after more than a year. South Korea publicly showcased its naval special forces exercise for the first time to address North Korea's continued provocations, including airdropping garbage-filled balloons and GPS interference. The exercise featured a 3,000-ton strategic submarine capable of launching ballistic missiles underwater and utilizing advanced sonar technology for torpedo attacks, showcasing South Korea's naval combat strength.
