The first year of spot Bitcoin ETFs saw remarkable growth, with $36.2 billion in net inflows and record-breaking performance from BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which alone attracted nearly $38 billion. However, Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) faced significant outflows exceeding $21 billion, leaving it as a complex participant in the market. While some newer ETFs failed to gain traction, IBIT’s rapid ascent has positioned it as a major player in the cryptocurrency investment landscape.
