Sri Lanka has granted preliminary approval for Elon Musk's Starlink, the satellite division of SpaceX, to provide internet services in the country. The approval process was expedited after a meeting between Musk and President Ranil Wickremesinghe in Indonesia, where they discussed enhancing internet connectivity in rural areas and potential cooperation on renewable energy.
