Starbucks is being sued for the third time by Balmuccino, a company claiming the coffee chain stole its concept for coffee-flavored lip balms. The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court, follows a previous dismissal of a similar case. Balmuccino alleges that after pitching its products to Starbucks in 2018, the company launched its own version in 2019 without compensating them, sparking accusations of theft and wrongful appropriation.
