Starbucks Shows Signs of Recovery as Sales Decline Slows

Reported 1 day ago

Starbucks Corp. has reported a smaller-than-expected decline in quarterly sales, indicating a potential rebound from recent customer pullbacks. The company experienced a 4% drop in same-store sales for the quarter ending in December, an improvement from the prior 7% slump. Under new CEO Brian Niccol, Starbucks is revamping operations by enhancing the customer experience, including the return of ceramic mugs and the removal of the nondairy milk surcharge. Despite cuts in its product lineup and anticipated layoffs, the company is focused on making progress and aims to simplify service in stores.
