Starbucks is discontinuing its line of olive oil drinks known as Oleato to simplify its menu, effective November 7. The decision comes as new CEO Brian Niccol aims to streamline offerings and improve service speed after a period of declining same-store sales. The drinks, introduced in early 2023 and promoted by former CEO Howard Schultz, received mixed reviews and were reportedly not popular among baristas.
