Starbucks workers have extended their strike to four additional U.S. cities, including New York, as part of a five-day walkout that began on Friday. The strike, initiated by the union representing over 10,000 baristas, now affects not only Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle but also New Jersey, Philadelphia, and St. Louis, due to stalled negotiations over wages, staffing, and scheduling. Workers United warned that the strike could spread to hundreds of stores by Christmas Eve, potentially impacting holiday sales for the coffee chain.
