StarLux Airlines Chairman Promises to Turn Losses Around with Accumulated Losses of NT$11.506 Billion

StarLux Airlines held a shareholders' meeting today where Chairman Chang Kuo-wei addressed the accumulated losses of NT$115.06 billion caused mainly by the pandemic, promising this would be the final loss. Chang emphasized that there will be no more significant losses in the future, and this year's situation is expected to improve significantly with a projected double-digit growth in profit. StarLux Airlines is planning to expand its route network aggressively by adding new routes to destinations like Chiang Mai in Thailand, Hakodate in Japan, and launching three new routes including Taichung to Macau, Danang, and Takamatsu. They aim to go public by the end of 2025.
