The play 'Stereophonic' is now scheduled to perform at the Tony Awards after fans and playwright David Adjmi expressed discontent over its initial exclusion from the lineup. Featuring a score by Arcade Fire's Will Butler, 'Stereophonic' is nominated for Best Score and 12 other Tonys. Producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner hinted at the performance, and the ceremony on June 16 will also include casts from various nominated musicals as well as a long list of presenters. The 77th Tony Awards will highlight the 2023-24 Broadway season and will be hosted by Ariana DeBose, airing live on CBS and Paramount+.
