Stetson Bennett has returned to the Los Angeles Rams after missing the previous season for undisclosed mental health reasons. The 26-year-old quarterback cited needing time at home to address these issues. Last year, the Rams placed Bennett on the reserve/non-football illness list, sparking curiosity as to his absence. While specifics remain private, Rams general manager Les Snead mentioned Bennett was "exhausted" from the stress of his college football journey. Bennett's return to the team comes as he competes for a spot on the roster behind quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo.
