Stock Plunges by 6.27% After Exclusion from Component Stocks List

On July 1, 2024, the Taiwan stock market closed with a 0.11% increase, but one stock, Huatong (2313), experienced a 6.27% drop in price to 76.3 yuan after being removed from the component stocks list last week, with three major institutional investors selling nearly 30,000 shares. The top ten stocks sold by the three major institutional investors included Huatong, followed by several other companies such as Innolux, Yageo, TSMC, and more.
