Stocks close higher despite weak JOLTS data

Reported 4 months ago

The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a 140-point increase while the S&P and NASDAQ also closed higher despite disappointing JOLTS data indicating the lowest job openings since 2021. The market was influenced by the decline in bond yields, with real estate, communication services, health care, and tech sectors performing well, while materials, energy, financials, and industrials faced losses.
