Stray Cats Bring Positive Changes to Juvenile Offenders at Rehabilitation School, Pet Association Donates Supplies

Reported 8 months ago

Principal Tu Zhihong of Mingyang Middle School in Kaohsiung discovered that students caring for stray cats showed a more gentle and stable attitude, and their behavior became friendlier. The school, which houses juvenile offenders of serious crimes, has experienced a positive change in environment due to interactions between stray animals and students. Stray cats and dogs not only regulate student behavior but also contribute to a more harmonious atmosphere, reducing hostility. The Taiwan Provincial Pet Association donated food and pet snacks to the school, aiming to alleviate the school's burden and promote behavioral and emotional transformations through caring for stray animals, especially benefiting students with special needs.
