According to Nielsen, streaming for TV consumption reached a record high in May, constituting 38.8% of total viewing, surpassing the previous record set in July 2023. Netflix's 'Bridgerton' was the most-watched streaming title in May, with the first four episodes of Season 3 accumulating over 5.5 billion viewing minutes. YouTube led with a 9.7% share of streaming platforms, followed by Netflix at 7.6%. Both Tubi and The Roku Channel experienced significant growth, reaching highs of 1.8% and 1.5% respectively. Cable viewing slightly dropped to 28.2%, while broadcast TV saw a small increase to 22.3% in May.
