The man, identified as Woon Sen, a German married to a Thai woman, unintentionally transformed his appearance to match Reeves'. His viral videos on TikTok, especially one of him riding a motorcycle, amassed over 7 million views, leading to widespread curiosity and confusion amongst locals mistaking him for the celebrity. His wife shared that after dyeing his hair and beard black, their resemblance to Reeves caught the public eye and created a buzz in the local community.
