During an outdoor school activity, students rented bicycles on the left bank of Bali in New Taipei City. When returning the bikes, the students were unhappy with the shop owner's demand for compensation, claiming that the bicycle was damaged by them and seeking 1300 TWD reimbursement. After a dispute, police were involved, and the teacher ended up compensating the shop owner with 300 TWD. The shop owner insisted that the bike was in good condition before renting it out. Consumer officials advised that consumer disputes can be filed for complaints.
