Su-Wei Hsieh, ranked second in the world, has selected 20-year-old player Chia-Yi Tsao as her doubles partner for the Paris Olympics. The Taiwan Tennis Association will aim to secure two women's doubles entries, with Hsieh and Tsao being the first pair. Hsieh is said to have chosen Tsao from a pool of Taiwan players ranking within the top 300 in singles or doubles. The decision to choose Tsao came after evaluating nine eligible players, including Yayi Yang, Hao-Ching Chan, Fan Hsien, Ya-hsuan Lee, Yu-hsuen Cho, and Yi-Shan Cho. The final selection for the second pair, potentially featuring Hao-Ching Chan, Yi-Jing Chan, or Fang-Hsien Wu, will be announced soon.
