Suffering from a Wrongful Conviction for 21 Years, Su Jianhe Appears at Soochow University's Human Rights Master's Program Graduation Ceremony, Hoping Taiwan Moves Towards Democratic Rule of Law.

Su Jianhe attended and served as the representative of the master's program graduates at the graduation ceremony today, urging Taiwan to progress towards a more democratic and rule of law society. Soochow University held the graduation ceremony for the 112th academic year with 2750 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral graduates participating. Su Jianhe, a victim of a wrongful conviction case, emerged as a highlight of the ceremony, having been wrongfully imprisoned for 21 years before finally being acquitted in 2012. He expressed gratitude for the support at the university and expressed his hope to contribute to Taiwan's advancement in human rights, democracy, and rule of law after graduation.
