Sugar prices have fallen to one-week lows as Brazil boosts its sugar output, according to Unica. The country saw a significant year-on-year increase in sugar production and a higher percentage of sugarcane crushed for sugar. Despite a projected global sugar deficit for the 2025/26 season, expectations of ample sugar supplies and potential increases in exports from India and Thailand are pressuring prices down.
