In collaboration with WIT STUDIO, Warner Bros. Japan released the original anime 'Suicide Squad: World War II,' based on the infamous DC Comics' 'Task Force X.' The series follows their journey into a parallel world after being implanted with timed bombs that will explode in 72 hours. The Suicide Squad members must battle an evil empire's army to regain their freedom, offering a unique and action-packed twist on the isekai genre. Directed by Eri Nagata, the show promises to be a refreshing addition to the summer anime lineup, with each of the 10 episodes available for streaming starting from June 27th.
