The Central Weather Bureau in Taiwan held a typhoon outlook press conference, predicting that there is a higher probability of 2 to 4 typhoons approaching Taiwan in the latter half of the year, below the historical average. Due to the weaker La Niña effect, this summer is expected to be hotter with fewer typhoons and less rainfall. The bureau warns that with both rainfall and typhoon numbers below normal, water conservation is crucial for Taiwan. Additionally, new early warning information will be provided starting July 1 to aid in preparation for upcoming typhoons.
