Kaohsiung police launched an expanded inspection on the night of June 30th, where hostesses lined up in the dance floor, appearing quite spectacular. As part of the 'Summer Protection of Adolescents - Youth Special Project' starting on July 1st, Kaohsiung City Government aimed to crack down on drug involvement, gangs, fraud, and safeguard minors, purifying the growth environment. The authorities formed a joint inspection team and closed off large KTV and dance hall areas for inspection under the leadership of the Deputy Mayor at the New Xing Police Station. A total of 626 officers from various police units were mobilized for this operation, including inspections at places where young people often gather, emphasizing the need for safe and quality environments for young individuals. They also apprehended a female fraud suspect and used drug detection dogs to check for illegal items. The government reminded parents to monitor their underage children's activities, avoid late-night activities in unsuitable places, and take precautions against crime. Various leisure activities were promoted for the young during summer, ensuring safety and lawful leisure, especially emphasizing water safety awareness to prevent drowning accidents.
