On June 17, 2024, artist Sun Peng's son, Sun Anzhuo, was found with a gas gun at a nightclub in Xinyi District, Taipei last Saturday, accompanied by his agent. The agent, Zhu Yiming, defended the gun as non-lethal, resembling a large lighter, and legal as it falls outside firearm control regulations. Sun Anzhuo did not display the gun, claiming it was his property and not illegal to possess. Police are urging them to submit the gun for testing to clarify its capabilities.
