Sun Anzuo's agent Zhu Yiming, caught up in a gun-related case, was brought in for questioning and transferred to the Taipei District Prosecutors Office on the morning of June 20, 2024. Zhu accused the police of conducting an illegal search and was forcibly put into a police car. After questioning, he was released on bail of NT$30,000 and restricted from certain activities. Zhu, a graduate student in neuroscience at Yangming Chiao Tung University, continuously proclaimed police misconduct during his transfer to the prosecutors office. His actions are linked to an incident involving Sun Anzuo where they were found with firearms in the Xinyi District, triggering a police search and resulting in Zhu's arrest for alleged firearm violations.
