During a surprise search in Taipei's Da'an District, authorities discovered gunpowder and a dagger in Sun Peng's house. Sun Anzuo and his agent Zhu Yiming were taken away by the police. Sun Anzuo was later released on bail with a restriction on residence and a provision to pay 300,000 NT$ to his father Sun Peng. This incident follows a recent controversy in Thailand involving Sun Anzuo, and the discovery of 'black powder' in his home sparked further investigations to determine its link to a gas gun. Zhu Yiming, who resided with Sun Anzuo, was emotional during the search and was arrested for obstructing public duties. Sun Anzuo, silent and wearing sunglasses, was unresponsive to the media's inquiries during his transfer to the prosecutor's office and eventually was granted bail and restricted residence. The strained relationship between Sun Anzuo and his parents, who have supported him through various controversies, continues as Sun Anzuo's agent posted updates on the situation on social media.
