Sun Anzuo and his manager surnamed Zhu caused controversy by carrying gas guns, leading to a police search of their residences where gunpowder, gas guns, and blades were seized. Zhu deemed the search illegal, claiming he was restrained before the search warrant was shown, causing him injury, and was rushed to the hospital for examination. After interrogation, Zhu was released on bail of NT$30,000 and restricted from leaving his residence. Sun Anzuo was also interrogated and released on NT$300,000 bail. The case originated from Sun and Zhu being seen with a gas gun in a shopping district, with Zhu arguing it had no harmful capabilities.
