Sun Peng's son, Sun Anzuo, was found with a dagger, gunpowder, and a firearm in his residence, leading to an investigation by the Taipei City Criminal Investigation Division and the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office. After over ten hours of questioning, Sun Anzuo was released on NT$300,000 bail with his father, Sun Peng, taking responsibility. Sun Peng accompanied his son throughout the investigation and awaits the outcome of his son's questioning. Sun Anzuo's agent, Zhu Yiming, claimed that the firearm found was non-lethal and intended for barbecue purposes, expressing discontent with the police's handling of the case.
