Connecticut Sun's Alyssa Thomas and coach Stephanie White were awarded the Eastern Conference Player of the Month and WNBA Coach of the Month for May, respectively. Thomas averaged 14.6 points, nine rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, while White led the team to a league-best 7-0 record in May. The Sun are currently 8-0 and will play the Washington Mystics next.
