On July 2, 2024, a fire broke out at the Hai Ha Wang factory in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, prompting the evacuation of over 50 employees. The fire, suspected to have started due to sunlight reflecting off paper boxes, led to billowing black smoke and a three-hour battle to extinguish the flames. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The warehouse where the fire originated was said to contain a large quantity of paper boxes and chemicals, exacerbating the intensity of the blaze.
