On June 29, 2024, students from Yue Ming Junior High School are set to embark on a sailing journey around Taiwan, with Treasure Island Eyewear donating funds to support the young sailors in realizing their dream. The eyewear company's donation will help kickstart the '2024 Sailing Towards Blue' sailing project organized by the school, aiming to promote marine sustainability and education. The sailing expedition will involve 2 large sailboats serving as 'Ocean Sustainable Action Schools,' with over 400 students and teachers from 36 schools navigating Taiwan and its surrounding islands over 28 days, covering 1939 kilometers. Treasure Island Eyewear's contribution includes a monetary donation, along with providing each student with a pair of sunglasses to protect their eyes during the adventurous journey, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and love for the ocean among the next generation of sailors.
