In the case of Lin Zaipei's poor performance during the investigation of the Hao Ding case, the district prosecutor's year-end job evaluation score of 'below average' led to a lawsuit. The Supreme Administrative Court overturned the original decision citing lack of evidence for the negative assessment and deemed the evaluation process flawed. Despite the prosecutor arguing his adherence to procedures, the Court highlighted issues with his direct supervisor's authority at the time. The decision was therefore sent back for a reevaluation to ensure fairness in the assessment process.
