As the Japanese yen exchange rate continues to drop, approaching the 160 psychological threshold against the US dollar, the Japanese government hints at intervening in the forex market. However, this has served as a major incentive for tourism. According to the Japan National Tourism Organization, from March to June this year, the number of overseas visitors has consecutively exceeded 3 million, reaching a new record high. Nevertheless, Japan is facing reports of 'tourism pollution' incidents, with many small villages being overcrowded by tourists, leading to environmental damage, affecting agriculture, jeopardizing safety, and severely disrupting the lives of local residents.
