According to a recent online poll conducted by CTi News, with over 20,000 participants, results indicate that Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu garnered over half of the support from the voters. Various high-profile figures from the blue camp have been rumored to potentially run for the KMT chairmanship, with commentator suggestions including former Taipei County Magistrate Chou Hsi-wei and outspoken legislator Chang Ya-chung. Current KMT Chairman Chu Li-lun received 5% of the votes, followed by Han Kuo-yu at 53%, New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-yi with 3%, Taichung Mayor Lu Hsiu-yan at 29%, and KMT caucus convener Fu Hsin-chung with 10%.
