In a survey conducted by Ling Media on future political leaders, President Lai Ching-te and Vice President Xiao Meiqin topped the party-political group rankings, with Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai and Taichung Mayor Lu Hsiu-yen leading in the mayor group. In the legislator group, DPP legislator Huang Jie excelled in overall impression and future development, while green legislators Wang Shijian and Ke Jianming respectively excelled in strong supervision and policy influence. The survey sampled 3083 respondents above 18 years old nationwide through online proactive distribution from May 28 to June 5, 2024, with a margin of error within ±1.76% at a 95% confidence level.
