In Taiwan, due to the hot weather, six people were hospitalized after experiencing symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting following a meal at a hot pot restaurant where they consumed grilled oysters. Medical examinations suggested food poisoning, likely from consuming stale or undercooked seafood. The group's friends who ate with them also fell ill. Tzu-Chi General Hospital in Dajia emphasized the importance of consuming fresh seafood and ensuring thorough cooking to prevent such incidents, especially during hot and humid conditions.
