Professor Jiang Yaqi of Taihai Great Law Academy pointed out the growing trend of net-zero carbon emissions is prompting many advanced countries to actively develop sustainable hydrogen energy. With Taiwan surrounded by seas and unlimited hydrogen energy potential, the government has included hydrogen energy in the twelve key strategies for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Referencing strategies from the more active hydrogen energy developers like the U.S., EU, Japan, and Korea, discussions were held at the International Hydrogen Energy Development, Legal Regulations, and Benchmark Enterprise Forum on June 13, organized by the Taiwan Sustainable Development Goals Association and National Taiwan Ocean University. Experts shared insights on international hydrogen energy market developments, legal regulations, and policy strategies to support Taiwan's sustainable development goals.
