SUV failed to yield to oncoming motorcycle in New Taipei, father carrying wife and child crashes due to inability to stop in time

On June 20, 2024, at around 8 a.m., an SUV in New Taipei failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle at the intersection of Jincheng Road Section 2 and Liqing Street in Tudig District, causing a collision. The motorcycle, carrying a father, his wife, and their 5-year-old son, collided with the side of the SUV. The father and son suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The police suspect that the accident was caused by the SUV not yielding to the oncoming motorcycle, but further investigation is ongoing.
