T-Mobile US Inc. has agreed to purchase US Cellular Corp.’s wireless operations and part of its spectrum assets for around $2.4 billion. This deal includes US Cellular’s wireless customers, retail stores, and 30% of its spectrum assets, with T-Mobile paying $4.4 billion total. The transaction is expected to finalize in mid-2025 pending regulatory approval, allowing T-Mobile to expand into under-penetrated markets and strengthen its position in the competitive wireless industry.
