In preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Taiwanese table tennis representatives, including veteran Chuang Chih-yuan, and seasoned players like Lin Yun-ju, Cheng I-ching, and Chen Szu-yu, will be joined by new faces. Nineteen-year-old Kao Cheng-jui will take over his master Chuang Chih-yuan's position in men's singles, while twenty-two-year-old Chien Tung-chuan is expected to bring a new dynamic to the women's team. Despite Kao Cheng-jui surpassing Chuang in the men's singles event, Chuang remains supportive, emphasizing their close relationship and shared journey. Meanwhile, with Chuang suffering from injuries, Lin Yun-ju and Chien Tung-chuan are adjusting their training focus to ensure peak performance at the upcoming Olympics.
