Based on the current needs of promoting public security work, Taichung City Government's Police Bureau conducted a comprehensive review of job promotions below the seventh rank based on principles such as moral conduct, promotion points, job experience, performance, willingness to transfer, professional abilities, tenure, regional reassignments, and suitable placement. In order to enhance the overall public security function effectively, the Bureau decided to adjust job positions. To improve grassroots organization's emergency response and strengthen job experience, the position of patrol sergeants concurrently serving as precinct chiefs will gradually be taken over by patrol officers, aiming to establish a blueprint for cultivating grassroots cadre. The adjustments involve appointing 14 individuals to new positions by July 1st of the 113th year, with specific changes listed for different precincts and stations.
