Taichung City Government is gradually improving school facilities by launching a program to update desks and chairs for junior high and elementary students with adjustable features, aiming to benefit over 220,000 students. The adjustable desks and chairs can be customized to fit students' height and body type, providing greater comfort and flexibility in classrooms. The replacement project is set to span three years and is part of the city’s efforts to enhance students' learning environment and posture, addressing concerns over outdated furniture affecting students' learning experience. Used desks and chairs that are still in good condition will be allocated to other school areas, promoting sustainability through recycling efforts.
