In Taichung, Taiwan, two luxury cars, a BENZ and a BMW, caught fire in two separate incidents in Dali District on June 24th and 26th, possibly due to the placement of items like air fresheners, insect repellents, and mineral water in the vehicles. The incidents were suspected to be caused by the intense heat possibly igniting these items in the cars. Owners are urged to avoid placing flammable items to prevent such car fires in the hot weather. Additionally, with the recent extreme heatwave leading to heat-related illnesses, people are advised on precautionary measures to avoid heatstroke and heat injuries.
